The Christmas post

This year for Christmas I was able to go home to Pendleton to spend Christmas with my mom and family. I was so excited to spend some time with my family! The only problem is my fear of flying which is now apparently two days long instead of just the night before (I will be going to the doctor in the new year to get some medicine). My mom and step dad Tom picked me up from the airport in Portland with my niece Chloe and then we stopped for breakfast and then started our three hour car trip to Pendleton. My niece was so cute during the car ride she would say "Aunty put you head (yes you not your) over here on my lap," So I would put my head over on her lap and the she would give me a kiss on the cheek that lasted several seconds then make a big smacking noise and say "Aunty I gave you a biiiggg kiss!" then she would do that to my forehead and then my cheek again. Man I love her! I gave her a couple of dollars so she could buy herself some snacks at the gas station and so she bought her snack and then proceeded to eat the entire package of candy that she bought before we even noticed she had it open:)
We spent Christmas morning at my sisters house watching the kids open their presents. There were my nieces Chloe, Emma, Isabella and my newest nephew Tailesin (not sure that I spelt that right, it is kinda a different name), those three girls are so stinking cute, they love to play with each other. Except none of them wanted to share on Christmas morning, there was a lot of "No that is my toy, not yours" but I guess that is to be expected. Tailesin is three months so he mostly just slept through it all. He is also so cute!!! He loves to be held and cuddled which I had no problem with!. For Christmas dinner we went to my aunt's house like we normally do and we had prime rib, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls, I made mac and cheese and a little smokey appetizer. Dinner was so yummy.
On Saturday we spent the entire day at my aunt's house playing card games and eating leftovers. I love, love, love spending time with my family and can't wait to go back!
On Sunday we took my sisters rig to Portland because she was on bed rest so we needed to take both of her girls with us for my ride back to the airport. Emma decided she should sing and talk most of the way and Chloe was pretty quiet for most of the ride she just wanted to listen to my iPod, she says "Can I listen to you music?". Both girls thought they needed to go to the bathroom about five times during the three hour trip which was annoying at the time but is now quite funny.
I don't have a camera yet but I did take some pictures so I just need to get them on a disk so I can download them and post them with this:)

Sounds like a fantastic trip. Little nieces are the best, they are so fun and so sweet. Sounds like the food and fam were worth the flying!
Glad you're back safe.
