Day 15

I'm almost an entire week behind...not to surprising really but I will catch up today:)
Day 15 says to tell what your favorite scripture is and mine happens to be John 15:5 which says; I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. I don't remember when I became attached to that verse but I do remember why I originally became attached to it. My step mom decorated with grapes in her kitchen and had that verse on a plaque, I remember that I didn't really get it at first but the only other verse that I knew was John 3:16 and I decided that John must contain some pretty great stuff:) As I have gotten older this verse has become more of a reminder to me, it has helped me to try my best to model my life after the Savior. I have come to learn that I need my savior to do anything. I need his guidance, love and the security and steadiness that comes from remembering that through him I can become and do anything that is good and of the Lord. I can become who he wants me to be and that who he wants me to be is so much greater than what I have in mind. Though him I can bringeth forth much fruit.
