On Friday night I was able to go and see Julie and Julia. I loved it, I kinda knew I would:) I was able to relate to the story a lot, as I'm sure most people would in one way or another. I thought that Meryl Streep captured Julia Child wonderfully! Amy Adams had a wonderful part and I felt like I could completely relate to Julie Powell. I thought that there were a few unnecessary parts (they use curse words a few times) and I also felt that one aspect of the ending could have been left out as well. Other than those things I loved it. I completely understood the way that food had saved both of them. I felt like I experienced their successes and failures as I was watching the movie, I have had enough failures to totally understand those feelings:) But I have also had successes and so I felt the joy that each felt in their successes as well.
